Soup is a dark comedy-crime series helmed by filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey’s fame for Ishqiya, Dedh Ishqiya, and Sonchiriya. Konkona Sensharma is the female lead sharing screen space with Manoj Bajpayee who has given a stellar performance in The Family Man Amazon Series. Macguffin Pictures bankrolled this series. The story of the series is based on a true event and revolves around an incompetent cook Swathi Shetty (Konkona Sen Sharma), who wants to open her own restaurant and her suspicious husband Prabhakar (Manoj Bajpayee).
Prabhakar, instead of helping her on achieving her dream of opening a restaurant, doesn’t help her and doubts her. However, fate gives her a chance to make her dream come true but the things don’t go as per planning and are ruined by some whimsical characters and amateur villains.
