Pooja Kumari is a Sindhi- Hindu girl from the Southeastern province of Pakistan. She has been shot dead by Wahid Bux Lashari who intends to marry her after converting her to Islam. As per regional reports, Pooja Kumari has turned down the marriage proposal and religious conversion.
This led Lashari broke into Kumari’s home following a failed abduction attempt, he opened fire on her. She was 18. With this incident, the relatives of Pooja Kumari started protesting on roads and demanded austere actions against the accused.
