Jitendra Suna is a proletariat fighter, politician, and student, who fights against Brahmanism, class inequality, and gender justice. He is also one of the presidential candidates for the 2019 JNUSU election. He has faced all the untouchability and brutality of caste violence from his earlier childhood till his life at JNU University.
After reading the books of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, he started to think against the perpetuation of injustice attitude. While pursuing his degree, he became politically active both inside and outside the campus. He aimed to work for the atrocities against Dalits, Adivasi, lower castes, Muslims, women, and workers.
After finished his schooling, he came to Delhi and worked as a helper at the gas company for a salary of Rs 3,500 per month. When Jitendra Suna has written Babasaheb Ambedkar in his assignment, the Left-liberal Gandhian teacher expressed his repugnance.
Despite he scored good marks in the written exam, he was not selected for the M.Phil program by the Centre for Historical Studies. In his public speech, he often mention that the lower cast has the organic power to challenge Hindutva and Ram Rajya politics handled by the BJP and ABVP. He also says “The Left is a symbol of failure and cannot fight against the Right.”
